Pumphouse
Aside from relaxing at the house, there are many activities to do around the property.
Kayaking
Great way to get out and explore the pristine water of Lake Superior. The Pumphouse has adult stand up paddle board/kayaks, child kayaks and life jackets.
Sea Glass Hunting
A family favorite activity to search the shoreline peddles for sea glass. Have a contest to see who can find the most color variety. Take home your Superior souvenir!
Swimming
Take a refreshing dip in Lake Superior after a hot summer day. Even with the cool temperature of the water, this is a family favorite! Water shoes are recommended because the bottom is rocky.
Biking/Walking Trail
This property is a short walk from many paths. Lester Park (11 min. walk) has riverside trails with numerous waterfalls. Kitchi Gammi Park (18 min. walk) has direct access to stone-covered Lake Superior shores.
Bonfire
Have a lakeside bonfire in designated area and roast some s'mores. Enjoy a Lake Superior sunset, and at dusk, the Duluth city lights will glow in the distance. The Pumphouse has fire wood on site for guests.
Cornhole/Croquet
Start a game for outdoor fun in the Pumphouse lawn. Both cornhole and croquet are available for guests to use.
