Aerial Lift Bridge
This landmark in Duluth is a must-see for watching the large ships and sailboats pass under the vertical-lift bridge. The nearby Lake Superior Marine Museum is open year round free of admissions, featuring historical exhibits of Great Lakes shipping.

Canal Park
The park area is the entertainment hub of Duluth. From the lakefront boardwalk, food vendors and restaurants to gift shops, it would be easy to spend a couple hours here. Stand on the pier and watch ships pass by while listening to the sea gulls!

Enger Tower
Visit this five-story stone observation tower for a spectacular view of the Duluth skyline. Great place to have a picnic or stroll the walking paths of a beautiful Japanese peace garden.

Leif Erickson Park
Known particularly for the 4.5 acre Duluth Rose Garden, this park doesn't disappoint. A marble gazebo, stone fountain and lakefront floral landscapes make up this expansive park. There are plenty of places to sit to relax and the park has direct access to the Duluth Lakewalk. Would highly recommend for all!

Gleensheen Estate
Tours are available year-round at the historical 20,000 square foot mansion. The estate was at one time home of an affluent Duluth family who made fortune in mining industry.

Duluth Lakewalk
This walk is a 7 mile stretch of walking/bike paths between Bayfront Festival Park extending nearly up to Brighton Beach. Many different landmarks within the vicinity of the path such as; the aerial lift bridge, Rose Gardens and shops.

Great Lakes Aquarium
A favorite location for families if you want to explore the types of marine life found in the Great Lakes freshwater ecosystem. Great Lakes Aquarium is open daily year-round.

Lake Superior Zoo
A 16 acre zoo nestled within rocky and pine landscapes. See 300+ animals from Minnesota and all over the world.

S.S. William A. Irvin Ore Boat Museum
If touring a massive iron ore freighter docked in the heart of Duluth is something you can't miss then check out this museum.

Spirit Mountain Recreation Area
This mountain has all-season fun including ski slopes, snow tubing and an adventure park. The summer adventure park has an alpine coaster, zip ride and many other fun activities.

Duluth Beaches
Get your toes in the water by visiting Park Point beach. Location has miles of rolling sand dunes with plenty of sandy shoreline. Brighton Beach is a peaceful location for photographers and picnickers alike with its picturesque stone covered shoreline.
